How did I miss out on sharing my last few Ipsy bags with all of you? Beats me. I'm actually excited to show off this one! For the last few months, I haven't really been thrilled with what I've gotten. This month is different. For $10, I'm pretty impressed.
For a quick show and tell, check out the rest of the post!
First Thoughts
Bare Minerals Cream Eyeshadow:
I think I got Radiant Sand, but I'm not sure. It's hard to tell with the colors on the card and the sample isn't labeled. I like how it feels and it blended easily. There's also a faint golden shimmer to it.
Tints & Sass Stain:
I really like this! It reminds me of My Girl when Veda uses a cherry Tootsie pop as lipstick. I won't be using it for blush, but I'll use it for my lips!
Model's Own Red Sea
This is a really quick and dirty swatch. I just wanted to see how the formula was since everyone on the Ipsy page said it was thick and gloopy. Oh, and that it was for a child. WRONG. It was decent. It's a jelly with iridescent shards so it's a bit thick, but not so thick that it isn't workable. I really like this over black and white. It really pops! This polish is from the UK so I only have a few from the brand. This was a total surprise and made the bag worthwhile!
I didn't bother adding individual pictures for the bag (which is really cute this month!) or the two other items. I don't really use sunscreen since I don't go outside often. As for the lotion, I have a few from Lush that I really like so I don't need it. I'll probably give it away to a friend. Overall, this bag was a winner. That nail polish totally made the bag worth it! Not too shabby for $10!
Ipsy Glam Bag usually has a waiting list, but you can sign up using my referral link if you want to skip the line! It's only $10 a month. You earn points for referrals and reviews, and can redeem those points for more beauty products. Pretty neat, huh?
Not bad! I got the10 ml blue polish from Whet, but I haven't swatched it yet. Hmm that rhymes...LOL
ReplyDeleteThe bareMinerals sample is labeled on the very top of the back of the cardboard holder thing. According to Ipsy, they sent out Divine Wine and Barely Nude.
ReplyDeleteI'll have to look that one up!
ReplyDeleteHmm... Mine doesn't have a label and it seems a lot darker than the nude.
ReplyDeleteWow. Loved your tricks and trials with this nail polish. I received it with this month's bag. I was wondering how to use it. Thank you for posting this dear :-)

ReplyDeleteOhmygosh, you got the prettiest polish! I have always wanted to try Model's Own lacquers, they always look so cute on UK blogs ;) It looks so awesome on the white nail swatch!!
ReplyDeleteI wish they were easier to get here!
