Hey all! I'm Ashley, the face behind Plump and Polished. I'm a sassy fat babe from Pittsburgh, PA. I started this blog in late 2012 because I wanted to show off how you can be fat and fabulous. I want to inspire others and question the mainstream beauty ideals we see everyday. I am, by no means, a professional. This is totally for fun and my love of vanity. Confidence is key and you can show it off however you want. Don't be afraid to do you.
You'll never see any diet talk on my blog. If you want to diet, that's fine. It's not for me and I'm not going to promote it. Fat acceptance and body acceptance are both extremely important to me. If you have any negative comments about my body, keep them to yourself. I don't need shamers and concern trolls in my life. Remember: there's no wrong way to have a body.
