Hey, babes! I'm back with another nail art look for ya'll to take a look at! This time, I used a great indie creme polish as a base. This beauty is from Aliquid Lacquer. If you missed my post from a few days ago, you can check it out here.
Don't miss out the details and full review after the jump!
bright chartreuse green creme
one coat Ellagee Glass
This creme applied like butter! It was nearly opaque in one coat, but I used two for good measure. I finished it off with a big of top coat.
Just a word of caution: USE BASECOAT. This polish will stain if you don't. It's highly pigmented so shouldn't be surprising. I used ORLY Bonder and didn't have any problems.
With such a great base, I figured less is more. I applied black polka dots and stripes, but wanted a bit more. After it dried, I used a bit of white one top. I used Ellagee Glass to finish it off. So glad it didn't smear it at all!
I'm really loving this look. It's so me. Bold, but simple at the same time. Would you wear this look?
This is what I get to deal with when I'm trying to get work done. These bozos think that I redecorated my office for their pleasure. Winslow and Ned spent the entire day like on the couch. If only I could do the same thing. They have such a rough life, huh?
