Sally Hansen Miracle Gel - Simple Halloween Nail Art

Press Sample

BOO! Gotcha! Yeah, I know. That was pretty lame, but Halloween is this weekend! Are you ready?

My dude and I had a great couples costume planned, but we couldn't find one of the key components and had to ditch the idea. I'm without a costume, but my nails will look awesome! I've reviewed a few of the Sally Hansen Miracle Gel polishes before, but hadn't tried nail art. Keep on reading for my thoughts!

For this look, I used two coats of Electra-Cute without a base coat. (You don't need one with this line!) I topped it off with the Miracle Gel top coat and let it dry. Once that was dry, I came back with a striping brush and applied all the stripes going left to right, let them dry a bit to prevent dragging, and then applied the stripes going right to left. I topped it with another coat of the top coat.

It didn't smudge! I was very pleased the top coat kept my design in a good state. This look isn't perfect, but I really like it.

Sally Hansen Miracle Gel polish and top coat can be found at mass retailers and drugstores nationwide.
