You Polish: STARjelly Collection

I first posted You Polish a few days ago with the We All Scream collection. This is the second of three reviews I'll have up soon.  The creator, Lauren, previously used the name Makeup Your Face. I much prefer You Polish: Unbottle Your Personality! All of the polishes are custom-blended and three free. For all the details, be sure to check out all the good stuff under the cut...

STARjelly is collection of five jelly polishes packed with glitters. This collection can be worn on it's own for a lighter look or layered over a base for a more opaque look. They have a great squishy look and the formula is perfect for a jelly.

Looking at this swatch, I should have just gone without a base. It looked better in real life. Over a base, you can see the layers of glitters floating around in the polish. It has a great squishy-ness.

The application was great. It went on smoothly and the dry time was average. I didn't have to fish around for the glitter.

WOW. This jelly was made to layer over Go Overboard. They're perfect together. I wore this for 4 days with minor tip wear and never got tired of looking at my nails. And look at that black star on my index finger. How great is this duo?

various orange, yellow, gold, and silver glitter with fine gold holographic glitter
gold and blue stars

I actually love this over a white base. The orange jelly base has a really pretty translucent look to it. All the glitters are visible and floating around. They catch the light and sparkle so much in real life.

STARgazer
two coats over OPI Brights Power
Seche Vite top coat

I'm in love again! Brights Power was the perfect choice of a base for this. The glitter makes it glow. Oranges don't always suit my skin tone, but this is super wearable. I have it on my toes right now, and can't help but sneak a peek every now and then.

How cute is that blue star? I wish I had gotten more of them, but it really adds a little special something.

There are three other STARjelly polishes in the collection. You can find the whole collection for sale in the You Polish Etsy shop. Don't forget to stay up to date with all the latest You Polish news and more on the You Polish Facebook page.
