You Polish: We All Scream For... Nail Polish

You Polish is a newer indie brand, and I couldn't be more excited to share these with you! The creator, Lauren, previously used the name Makeup Your Face. I much prefer You Polish: Unbottle Your Personality! All of the polishes are custom-blended and three free. I've never used any of her creations before, but these surely won't be my last. This is the first of three reviews I'll have up this week. For all the details, be sure to check out all the good stuff under the cut...

We All Scream For... Nail Polish is a cute collection inspired by ice cream. Who doesn't love ice cream? If you don't, leave now. I can't trust you. These scented polishes are made up of glitters in a colored base. Since they're scented, it's recommended to not use a top coat as if could mask the smell. If you prefer, they can be made without the scents, but I think that takes away the fun and whimsy of them.  I have two from the six polish collection to share.

Birthday Cake Surprise
cake scented
creamy light yellow base with a mix of small and medium
red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple hexagons

Birthday Cake Surprise
3 coats over base
no top coat

I found that I still had visible nail line with just two coats, but three coats made it opaque for me. Dry time was average. Don't mind the nick on my index nail. I didn't notice it until after I uploaded the picture. Sorry, guys!

I loved the scent of this! It was sweet and not overpowering. I could smell it as soon as the first coat started to dry.

Birthday Cake Surprise
two coats over Sparitual Transcend
Seche Vite top coat

With a base and top coat, this polish really came alive. It really does look like birthday cake batter. Just think of all that Funfetti cake you had as a child. Sweet, sweet memories.

Peach Sundae
peach scented
creamy peach base with a mix of
orange and yellow shredded glitter

Peach Sundae
four coats over base
no top coat

This one was a little rough for me. My VSL didn't disappear until the fourth coat. Dry time was a little longer. I think that has to do with the larger shredded glitters. I don't really care for the light peach base against my skin tone.

The scent on this was my favorite of the two. Peach is one of my favorite scents and flavors so I knew I was going to love this.

Peach Sundae
two coats over Essie Tart Deco
Seche Vite top coat

HOLY MOLY! This polish really transformed over a colored base. I absolutely love how this changed the base case to a lovely orange cream. This is exactly what I was hoping for from this polish. The top coat smoothed this out nicely. Love!

How cute are these? I'm thinking that I need a few more from this collection as soon as my no buy is over. The other "flavors" are Choco Mint Chip, Strawberry Jubilee, Peanut Butter Cup, and Cookies & Creaminess.

You Polish can be purchased via the Etsy shop. The full size polishes retail for $7.75 each, or the whole collection can be purchased for $45. These polishes are available now! Don't forget to head on over to the You Polish Facebook Fan Page for updates!

Some items in this post were  provided for  review . All reviews are my honest opinion.
