SpaRitual Meditate Collection Spring 2013

Today, I'm sharing the full SpaRitual Meditate collection for spring 2013. This is my first SpaRitual experience and I was very curious to try them out. I must say I'm pretty pleased. Just a warning: this post is picture heavy.

          From SpaRitual press release:
"Celebrate the awakening of spring 2013. Feel its embrace with airy pastels and gentle feminine hues. Breathe in its colors. Its textures. Its harmony. Then just…be.

Help support the David Lynch Foundation. 20% of profits will be donated to implement scientifically proven stress reducing modalities, including Transcendental Meditation.

As with all SpaRitual lacquers, these new shades are vegan and free of DBP, Toluene    and  Formaldehyde and Formaldehyde resin. Each nail lacquer includes our sleek patented Plum Cap allowing effortless opening of the bottle and a non-slip grip while applying lacquer."

Check out all the swatches under the cut...

For the following swatches, I used a base coat of Zoya Get Even and a top coat of Seche Vite. All pictures were taken indoors with natural sunlight.

Peace & Harmony
matte white with a subtle silver shimmer and glow
three coats

This was a surprising favorite of mine. It's definitely not your average white and doesn't have a chalky look to it. The shimmer is much more prominent in real life, but is still subdued. The dry time was great. I used three thin coats to even this out and cover a few bald spots.

Calm & Clear
baby pink jelly

three coats

This jelly was fully opaque in three thin coats and has such a squishy look to it. The application was a breeze, and dry time was normal. If you don't mind a little visible nail line, two coats would have sufficed.

Transcend
matte pale buttery yellow with
a golden shimmer

three coats

I'm not usually a fan of gold, but the shimmer in this is perfect. I thought this was going to be a bit darker in real life. Like Peach & Harmony, this one dries matte and has the same application. I much prefer it with top coat as I've shown here.

Energy
baby blue jelly

three coats

This has the same application and dry time as Calm & Clear. I've been looking for a baby blue jelly for ages, and I think this hits the spot perfectly.

Quietness
pale yellow leaning beige jelly

three coats

The application and dry time was the same as the other two jellies in this collection. This polish is very unique to my collection. I don't have any other nude jellies. I can see myself using this as undies for glitters or nail art.

Introspective
pale green crelly with a subtle
 golden shimmer

two coats

My favorite of the collection! I love greens and this is no different. I'd say this one is a crelly. It's opaque like a creme, but definitely has the squishy feel of a jelly. The shimmer is subtle and makes this glow beautifully. The application was the best of the bunch and only needed two coats. The dry time was quick, too.

This collection goes together so well! At first, I thought it was going to be a bit drab, but I was pleasantly surprised by them. I'll have to add more SpaRituals to my collection in the near future.

Which one is your favorite? Do you own any SpaRituals? Let me know your favorites that I should check out!

SpaRitual can be purchased for $10-$12 each from various
online retailers such as Apothica or at salons and spas nationwide.
Some items in this post were  provided for  review . All reviews are my honest opinion.
