Chaos & Crocodiles - Pi R Squared

Chaos & Crocodiles is a new to me indie. I've seen others post about the brand, but I never really cared for them. I definitely judge a book by its cover; I didn't like the old bottles. C&C recently changed over to a square bottle with a sleeker and cuter label. I'M IN LOVE WITH THIS LOOK. I was lucky enough to score two polishes during the last restock. I'm usually terrible with them.

If you want to see more of this perfect circle glitter topper, stay tuned! It's a stunner.

Glam Polish - Mermagic

Press Sample

I can't believe that I almost forgot to post this! I swatched this polish last week and fell in love. What's not to like about mermaids, circle glitter, and pastels? I layered this over a light and a dark base to show off the versatility. Don't miss out on all the details after the jump!

Different Dimension - Happy Holly Days Collection

Press Sample

If you "like" me on Facebook, you might have seen my post about big things coming up. This is one of them! I have the entire Different Dimension Happy Holly Days collection to share with you today! These are currently unavailable, but check the end of the post for all the stock information! This collection contains eleven perfect polishes: five glitter toppers, one glitter crelly, one glitter jelly, one shimmer matte, one holo top coat, and two holos. With a lineup like this, there's something for everyone. I have to admit I'm not the biggest fan of the holiday season, but nail polish makes everything better! You don't want to miss out on this collection.

Liquid Lacquer - Freckled Lemonade

Product provided  for review.

I don't know about you, but I love homemade lemonade. Better yet, homemade freckled lemonade with fresh strawberries. Sweet, tart, and refreshing. Perfect on a hot summer day. This polish is no different.

Melissa of Liquid Lacquer was sweet enough to take my idea for this polish and run with it. She created this lovely combination and is offering it as a part of the upcoming summer collection. She'll have her next restock around 6/29, but be sure to check the Facebook fan page for updates! (I'll have swatches of more in upcoming posts! You're in for a real treat with these.)

Check out the review and more pictures after the cut.

Liquid Lacquer - Collide Into You

Today's post features an indie polish created by a lovely lady I've come to know through the polish community on Facebook. Liquid Lacquer recently had a restock in the Big Cartel shop. There are new glitter toppers, new holos, and glitter polishes. I had to restrain myself from buying too many at once. My top pick is Collide Into You.

Liquid Lacquer - Find Your Own Merman

Today's post is brought to you by a lovely indie polish from Liquid Lacquer. Melissa, the genius behind this indie, is great! All of her polishes are well thought out and limited edition. She does everything in small, custom blended batches. This creation is called Find Your Own Merman and she only made 6 bottles. I was lucky enough to snag one. Unfortunately, I'm in the middle of rearranging my polish room and my light box isn't set up right now. Hopefully, these pictures will suffice.

Find Your Own Merman: Two-ish coats over two coats of Essie Mojito Madness.
One coat of Seche Vite.

Find Your Own Merman is a great mix of medium, small, and tiny hexes in light, medium, and dark blue, green, and pale gold. The base is clear with a faint blue shimmer. Oh, and the big green circle glitters! BIG. GREEN. CIRCLES. How awesome are they?

The application was great. I said this was two-ish coats because the big circles were a bit hard to get out of the bottle. I think it could be from the weight of them. They were worth looking for! I was surprised by how flat they were on the nail. One coat of Seche Vite did the trick to give this a glossy and super smooth finish.

Liquid Lacquer is currently setting up a Big Cartel shop. It'll be open on February 1st with some great new polishes! Be sure to check it out.
