Hey, babes! I have a new indie box to share with you. Well, kind of new. The Beauty Quartet is no longer a thing. They decided to nix it since The BQB+4 was such a big hit. It's now the Magic 8 Box! Philly Loves Lacquer, Smokey Mountain Lacquers, My Indie Polish, and Rica will always be in the box and they'll have four guests.
This month's theme is Northern Lights. Not a typical winter theme, but I love it! Keep on reading for all the details...

This polish is a bit on the thin side and was a little patchy on the first few coats. You could easily layer this over a dark base for better application. I used four thin coats and top coat.
There's a ton going on in this polish. I would say it's more of a brown base because of all the shiftiness inside.
Smokey Mountain Lacquers
Magic Sky Show
deep teal blue creme
lime and aqua shimmer

Great formula with no application issues in two coats. I finished it off with some top coat.
There are some green shimmers in here at are great, but they were really hard to capture.
My Indie Polish
Cosmic Landscape
deep olive green
gold shimmer

This was a little patchy with two coats, but the third one built it up nicely. Aside from that, there weren't any issues with application. Top coat really makes it shine.
This is really metallic and the holo sparkles really catch the light.
Rica
Interstellar
navy blue holo
purple, green, light green, blue glitters, flakies, and shimmer

Super easy application in just two coats. It's not too thick or too thin. It's a bit textured, so you'll definitely want a good top coat.
There's so much going on in this. in the bottle, it looks like a microglitter, but on the nail it's more like everything wonderful in the nail world. One of my top three picks!
Turtle Tootsie Polish
Night Magic
deep dark blue holo
light blue sheen

This is the sheerest polish in the box. It was easy to work with, but took four coats to build it up nicely.
This would look great layered over a dark base. There's a slight purple flash in this, too. A dark base would really bring it out.
Frenzy Polish
Magnetic Midnight

Two super easy coats for full coverage. No application issues, but you'll want a glossy top coat to finish it off.
This is my top pick from the box. It's a combo of my favorite colors and the flakes are incredible when they catch the light.
Serum No. 5
Night Blaze
clear base
glow in the dark
mini stars
purple, pink, blue, and orange glitters

This glitter is jam packed. I used two coats for this look. It was a thirsty one and soaked up my first coat of top coat so you'll want to double up.
This glows in the dark! My camera never catches the glow correctly, but it's really bright. You could layer this over any base for a great look.
Stardust Polish
Solar Flare
purple linear holo
copper shimmer

Two coats was almost perfect, but the third one really set it off. It deepened the look a bit. It was pretty shiny on its own, but I added top coat.
This is also in my top three. I'm a sucker for a great purple, and this one is just too juicy to pass up!
