The Beauty Buffs are back again! This week's theme is Neon Everything. I was searching through my stash and realized I don't have many neon polishes. What's up with that? I didn't realize that until it was too late for me to run out and buy a few new polishes. Shucks! I pulled a few China Glaze neons and decided to run with it. I found six that worked well together and decided to run with it. You'll have to tell me what you think of it.
Check out all the details and a list of posts from the other Beauty Buffs after the cut...
Polishes Used: All China Glaze Turned Up Turquoise. Sky High Tops, I'm with the Lifeguard, Purple Panic, Flirty Tankini, Flip Flop Fantasy |
Rica - Whiteout
one coat
I used this as my base for this nail art look. I wanted to share a picture of it alone because I'm so amazed by it. This is ONE coat. I've never seen such an opaque and flawless white before. I also picked up Blackout from the Rica Etsy shop, too. If it's anything like this, it'll be perfect, too.

Neon Flowers
We all know that I'm not the greatest at nail art. I'm trying really hard to work on it and get better. I'm all about simple techniques that nearly anyone would recreate.
This one was easy. I used a dotting tool to make blobs. Well, they're supposed to be flowers. At first, they just looked like blobs. Adding the Flip Flop Fantasy dots in the middle of the blobs turned them into flowers, though.
Neon Flowers
I much prefer this look from further back. At a distance, it looks really awesome. I'm just super critical of myself.
Would you wear this look? If you attempt this yourself, let me know! I'd love to see someone else's rendition. Just share it on my Facebook page!
