Addicted to Holos - Indie Box April 2015

Press Sample

Happy Spring! Remember how I was so excited for spring to finally bring the sun and warmer weather? Well, Mother Nature did me wrong. So, so wrong. I woke up to snow! Big fluffy snowflakes all over the place. I really didn't want to have to deal with that so here I am. Snuggled up on the couch with Winslow and catching up on my weekly shows.

At least I'm being somewhat productive, right? I received the newest AtH box yesterday and had to dive right in. Keep on reading for all the juicy details!

No application issues here. It was nearly opaque in one coat, but I used two for a more even finish. You'll want to top it off with a high shine top coat to really set it off.

This baby is gorgeous. You really need to see it in person to appreciate it. In pictures, it's not showing as bright and luminous.

Super smooth application of a really opaque polish. It was almost good in one coat, but I did a second for good measure. I added top coat to finish it off.

I love teal! This is one of my top picks from the box, and the name is adorable. If I could find a pair of teal rain boots, I'd die.

On first look, I thought this was going to be a sheer polish. I was pleasantly surprised that it only needed two coats and went on like a dream. I used top coat to make it shine.

This is so far from the typical gray holo. The silver glass flecks and white flakies give it so much depth. It's really shiny and sparkly in real life. It's soft, but not boring.

This jelly is so packed with flakies that it was opaque in just two coats. It applied smoothly and evenly without any pooling. It was pretty shiny on its own, but I prefer top coat with it.

I'd be okay with all the rain in April if it looked like this. I tried so hard to capture the shiftiness of the flakes, but failed. They sparkle in purple and it's AMAZING. This is honestly my favorite SHP I own.

This polish a tiny bit on the sheer side. Two coats was okay, but the third one was the winner. It was perfect. I didn't have any problems with application. It was really shiny without top coat, but I wanted to make it look even juicier.

How pretty! This is a stunning polish like nothing else that I own. It's squishy and shimmery. You can see the bit of a pink and purple flash in the macro shot. This is one of my top picks from the box!
