Oh, man. This flu is no joke. It almost kept me from trying out this gorgeous new collection from Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer. Crooked Hearts is the perfect unconventional Valentine's Day collection. As you can see, there's no pink frilly polishes with heart glitter. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but it's not for everyone. I'm all about this collection, though!
If you need any of these in your life, keep reading! I've got all the pre-order info under the cut.
Sick Inside Wondering
medium kelly green
turquoise blue shimmer
Sick Inside Wondering
two coats
one coat Seche Vite
Sick Inside Wondering
This was perfect in two easy coats. It was super smooth and creamy. It dries to a satin finish, but I prefer it with top coat to really make it shine.
Sick Inside Wondering
How great is this? The blue shimmer is really strong and noticeable in nearly any light. It don't think I have any greens like this in my collection.
Believin' Won't Fly
dark navy blue
icy blue flash
Believin' Won't Fly
two coats
one coat Seche Vite
Believin' Won't Fly
Finally! A creamy, but someone metallic vampy blue that doesn't flood my cuticles during application. This one was perfect in two coats with some top coat.
Believin' Won't Fly
Couldn't you just dive right in?
Might Not Recover
clear base
purple holo microglitter
platinum flakes
silver reflective beads
silver holo microglitters
Might Not Recover
three thin coats
one coat Seche Vite
Might Not Recover
This glitter is super, super packed. Since I prefer a more opaque look, I used three thin coats. This one will dry to a textured finish. It's pretty on its own, but I love it with top coat.

So. Much. Sparkle. This one is really blingy. It can be worn alone or layered over any base to make it something else.
The One Worth Leaving
deep berry jelly
pink and purple shimmers
The One Worth Leaving
two coats
one coat Seche Vite
The One Worth Leaving
After one coat, this one is a little on the sheer side. For the second coat, I applied it a little thicker and it was perfect. I topped it with a little Seche Vite.
The One Worth Leaving
I can't get over how much I love this! I'm pretty sure Julie made this for me and only me. It's everything I love in a polish. It's squishy, opaque, and shimmery. Definitely my top pick!
Together Dead and Lonely
black jelly
silver holographic microglitter
red microglitter
Together Dead and Lonely
two coats
one coat Seche Vite
Together Dead and Lonely
Easy application and just two coats for full opacity. A bit of top coat and you're good to go with this baby.
Together Dead and Lonely
This is like a galaxy on the nail. The silver holographic glitter makes it seem like so much more than silver and red. It sparkles with full rainbows. You could get lost in this one.
Cold Inside Me
deep teal blue creme
blue to teal to purple shifting glass fleck shimmer
Cold Inside Me
one coat
one coat Seche Vite
Cold Inside Me
A one coat wonder! This was a breeze to apply. It was easy to work with, super opaque, and dried fast. I finished it with top coat to really make it shine.
Cold Inside Me
This is a very close second to me favorite of the collection. To me, it's a bit greener than my pictures show. I tried so hard to capture it.
