Parrot Polish - Blue Marlin, Sugar Plum, and Grape Wine

Press Sample

A few weeks ago, I posted a cute dotticure look using three shades from Parrot Polish. Today, I'm back with three more! No nail art for this post, but these polishes are gorgeous all on their own. These aren't cremes like before! You really don't want to miss out on this trio. Keep on reading for lots of pictures!

Blue Marlin

dark blue-green
green shimmer

Blue Marlin

two coats
one coat Ellagee Glass

Blue Marlin

This applied like a dream. Two easy coats with no issues. It dries to a nice matte finish, but I added top coat to really get the shimmer.

Sugar Plum

bold purple tinged magenta
holographic sparkle

Sugar Plum

three coats
one coat Ellagee Glass

Sugar Plum

This has a jelly-like consistency and I found that three coats was perfect. If you don't have a lot of free edge, two might be good for you. It applied well and I didn't experience any pooling or dragging. It dried quickly and was pretty shiny on its own, but I added some top coat.

Grape Wine

red leaning purple
blue shimmer
blue sparkles

Grape Wine

three coats
one coat Ellagee Glass

Grape Wine

This one has a formula very similar to Sugar Plum. I needed three coats to build it up to the look I prefer. It applied well, though, and didn't give me any problems. I finished it off with some top coat.
