Hey, babes! Sorry I've been absent. I celebrated my seventh anniversary with my dude not too long ago, and then had to dive back into my day job. Nothing super exciting, but enough to keep me away from my blog. In the last two weeks, I've actually only done my nails twice! Shocking, huh? This review couldn't have come at a better time. I needed some self care; these mani bombs were perfect!
Today, I have two polishes and an awesome mani bomb review for new to me indie Forever Polished by Ashley. You don't want to miss out on this one!
Sweet Talk
gray leaning white crelly base
light pink and red hearts
hot pink squares
red and holo fuchsia and purple tiny sparkles
Sweet Talk
two coats
two coats Rica Glossy Glam
Sweet Talk
I used two coats of Sweet Talk to get full coverage. The base is a bit on the thick side, but completely workable. The glitters were sticking to the bottle for me so I mixed it with a toothpick. After that, I got TONS of glitter out. It had an average dry time. I used two coats of quick dry topcoat to smooth over the hearts. This little buggers can be tricky.
Sweet Talk
Look at all those hearts in there! I was shocked by how many came out. This mix is pretty unique, too. It's very femme and fun.
Fuchsia in my Veins
clear base
fuchsia dots
fuchsia holo diamonds
fuchsia tiny hexes
fine fuchsia holo sparkle
Fuchsia in my Veins
one coat over Illamasqua Vice
one coat Rica Glossy Glam
Great formula! Easy to apply and with an awesome glitter pay off. I only needed one swipe of topcoat which amazed me.
Fuchsia in my Veins
I love this polish! It reminds me a bit of my favorite Lynnderella I Don't Mean Rhinestones. I love the dots with the diamonds. This combo is killer!
Fuchsia in my Veins
one coat over Essie Off the Shoulder
one coat Rica Glossy Glam
Fuchsia in my Veins
I had to try this over a lighter pink. I think it'd be great over nearly any base. This is a must have for me!
Strawberry Mani Bomb
I was so excited to try out this mani bomb! Forever Polish offers a few scents every month. This month's scent is strawberry. Each order contains four bombs.
Strawberry Mani Bomb
These bombs are filled with great ingredients to soften and moisturize. Plus, they smell so yummy! They do contain some glitter that's not listed in the ingredients. That wasn't a big deal to me.
Strawberry Mani Bomb
I used a large Pyrex bowl (the pink gooseberry print was perfect for this!) filled with warm water. I can handle heat pretty well and made mine like a steamy bath. I soaked both hands at once so I needed a large bowl like this.

How pretty is this? This bomb has a great fizziness, smells heavenly, and looks really cute.

After a 20 minute soak, my hands started to prune a bit so I figured that was long enough. Afterwards, my hands were soft and refreshed. They were also a little glittery. I didn't mind at all. After the soak, I used some cuticle remover, pushed back my cuticles and trimmed any hangnails, slathered on some oil, and washed my hands. The glitter came off without a problem!
Tons of pink in this post! It's perfect for this time of year, though. I love the mani bombs so much. I think I'll use two of them in a foot bath soon. If it's good for a manicure, it's got to be great for a pedicure, right?
