Celestial Cosmetics - Arya Stark

Press Sample

Celestial Cosmetics, an Australian indie, has teamed up with Color4Nails for the Seven Kingdoms collection. There are nine polishes in total and I'll be sharing five of them with you over the next few posts.

The Seven Kingdoms collection is inspired by Game of Thrones and contains duochromes, holographics, and thermals. Personally, I know near to nothing about GoT, but the show is on my to watch list. This post is all about Arya Stark, an amazing holographic thermal polish. This post is full of surprises and you don't want to miss out on all of it after the cut.

All photos were taken in artificial light.
A base of Rejuvacote and one coat of Seche Vite were used.

Arya Stark
linear holographic thermal
soft pink when warm
lavender when cold

two coats alone
one coat Seche Vite

The formula on this is perfect. Two coats made it completely opaque and it dried quickly. This pictures shows it in its normal state for me.

Arya Stark

I'm a generally warm person so this polish is pink on me unless my hands are in contact with coldness. This picture shows it in transition and it a lot more color accurate than the above picture.

I love the french tip look this creates. My hands are constantly in and out of the cold at work. This effect is awesome and really packs a punch.

I hope the gif above gives you an idea of how pretty this transition looks. I took these pictures in a -20 degree freezer. I think it shows off the color change better than using cold water. I'm really in love with this polish. I actually wore it for 3 days without any chips or tip wear. What do you think of this holo thermal?

Celestial Cosmetics is available for purchase from Color4Nails.
Arya Stark and the entire Seven Kingdoms will be available soon.
