Sinful Colors - Leather Luxe Collection

Calling all matte polish lovers! This collection is for you! I have nearly the whole Sinful Colors Leather Luxe Collection to share with you. I'm only missing one, a brown shade. I first heard of this collection last week, and knew I had to get my hands on them. Or rather, get them on my hands. (Sorry, that was lame.) I was having a terrible day at work and my wonderful boyfriend surprised me with these six! How sweet! Anyway, you're in for a treat today. There are tons of pictures coming up. Don't miss out!

For a full review, check out the good stuff after the jump...

All photos were taken in natural light.
NO top coat was used.

Cold Leather

Two flawless coats that dried quickly. It's perfect! The color is deep and rich. I had zero issues with staining on this one.

Laced Up
bright orange-red matte creme

Laced Up
Again, two perfect coats that dried quickly. This one definitely leans orange on me. In some lights, I could have sworn it was orange and not red.

Whipped
black matte creme

Whipped

Two amazing coats and quick drying make this my holy grail matte black. I LOVE IT. I might have to get a backup of this while I still can. It's seriously perf.

Strapped
dusty teal green matte creme

Strapped

Two coats made this fully opaque. It is a bit thinner than the other polishes in the collection, but it built up nicely. It dried quickly, too. I really like this one. Just a word of caution: this one is a stainer.

My Turn

Two easy coats and a quick dry like the others. This is a perfect mid to dark gray shade. It's perfect for fall.

Get It On
deep berry matte creme

Get It On

Two amazing coats of quick drying, beautiful berry goodness. This is my favorite of the collection. I'm drawn to berry shades and I don't have any mattes in my collection that look like this.

So, which of these do you need? Are any going on your wishlist? I'm really into matte polish for the fall, but these can easily be top coated to change the look. I think I'll be using these quite a bit during my autumn nail art challenge.

Sinful Colors can be found at countless drugstores. They typically retail around $1.99 USD each. If I'm not mistaken, Walgreen's currently has them on sale for $0.99 each. That's a steal!

  2. I got 2 back ups of Whipped and one of Get it On. Whipped is seriously the best matte black I have ever worn. I had to stop myself from grabbing a 4th or 5th since Wags was having their 2/3 SC sale.

  6. These look great on you! I bought them two nights ago and have tried a couple, I have to say I was a bit disappointed actually! They chipped really quickly on me :( and I was definitely hoping Laced Up would be more of a true red, the orange is not flattering on me, but I love your swatches! :)

  7. Luckily a friend was able to pick up a few more of this collection for me... otherwise I would have been very angry with you for taunting me! Great post & your nails look amazing!!

  8. Oh, no! I haven't done a wear test on them. I'm thinking about using a top coat on the tips for a french manicure. I think that might help with chipping!

  12. I bought Get It On today and OMG. I've always loves Sinful Colors, but this color and formulation is incredible. It dried just as fast (if not faster) than my Essie polishes, and two coats was perfect.
