Butter London Queen Vic and Lovely Jubbly

Whoa now! I'm on a roll.

Many of you took part in the Ulta sale this past Monday. Butter Londons were Buy One Get One Free with a limit of 4 total. Of course I had to partake in the deal! I work long hours and wasn't able to get to Ulta until half an hour to close. Luckily, I work caddy corner to the store. When I arrived, I thought all the BLs were sold out, but I was in luck! I got my grabby hands on Queen Vic, Lovely Jubbly, Trout Pout, and Lady Muck. I may or may not have swooped in like a hawk and swiped them as other girls were moving in on them. I also picked up Horse Power. I've used it a few times so far and really like it as a base coat. It's thick, glossy, strong, and has a great dry time.

When I saw Queen Vic and Lovely Jubbly side by side, I knew they would be perfect together. Keep on reading for the pictures!

Queen Vic is a gorgeous wine color. It leans a bit more purple for me. The first two coats were a bit patchy and I ended up using three coats on it's own. For the two accent nails, I felt that two coats was sufficient.

Lovely Jubbly is a fine multi glitter of blue, red, fuchsia, and gold. In the bottle, I couldn't really see the gold much. (If you know me at all, you know I hate gold tones.) I was quite surprised by the glistening gold throughout it. I used one coat for these swatches. It was a dense and fairly smooth application.

Lovely Jubbly was a bit top coat hungry. I used an extra coat of Seche Vite for the accent nails.

Look at that sparkle! It's this a perfect fall duo? I wore this to work two days in a row, and got quite a few compliments. The wear was great and lasted through a pretty intense work day and cleaning session at home. This will definitely be a go to fall manicure!

    1. Thanks! It was a bit of a surprise for me since I typically don't like gold tones.
