Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer - Innocence in the Moment Collection

Press Sample

Hello, hello! This post is going to blow your socks off. I promise! While everyone on the East Coast is preparing for a blizzard, I'm over here editing pictures and watching True Blood. Trust me. This is a lot more fun than trying to go to the grocery store. If I'm snowed in, I have plenty of polishes to swatch.

Enough with the chit chat. Check out all the good stuff after the jump.

The Seasons Change

berry pink
linear holographic
platinum micro-flakes

The Seasons Change

Super great formula and a one coat wonder. No issues here. It's the perfect thickness. Dry time was pretty quick, too. I used top coat to make it shine.

This is a surprising polish to me. In the bottle, it looks like there's going to be silver flecks in it, but the pink hides them and makes them different shades of pink. Love it!

I Only Meant to Stay a While

emerald green jelly
green, silver, blue, and purple holographic microglitters

I Only Meant to Stay a While

two coats
one coat Seche Vite

I Only Meant to Stay a While

Super opaque jelly here! It was just a little patchy on the first coat, but the second one sealed the deal. Great dry time, too.

I love a deep green. This one is made even better with the microglitter. It's much prettier on the nail than in the bottle.

Chasing the Skyline

royal blue
iridescent rainbow flakes

Chasing the Skyline

two coats
one coat Seche Vite

Chasing the Skyline

Creamy formula that wasn't too thick or too thin. Two perfect coats and it's good to go. You'll want a good top coat to make it shine.

I really tried to pick up the different colors in the flakies, but I couldn't do it justice. In real life, they're a lot more alive.

Basking in the Storm

amethyst purple creme
blue and aqua shimmer

Basking in the Storm

one coat Seche Vite

Basking in the Storm

Again, another perfect formula. I used just two coats, but could have gotten away with one. I topped it off with a high shine top coat to really set it off.

In the bottle, but looks like a dark, dusty purple. On the nail, it comes alive! I love how the blues really come through.
