I finally had some time to try some nail art. I was inspired by my jerk of a cat Ned. He's a 12 year old black cat who likes to kill for sport and headbutt's me if he needs something. He's a real peach.

This was my first run of this look. I wasn't super pleased with it so I only took this one picture. I feel like they kind of look like Batman masks. Who knows what I was thinking.
For the cat, I made a semicircle and then added two small triangles for the ears. With a small nail art brush, I made some oval eyes in green. A pink nose with some white whiskers came next. After that, I added some white to the ears and finished off with the black slits for the pupils. Don't forget the top coat!
This is my second time doing water marble decals. It's so simple! I did a regular old water marble, but let it dry on top of the water before moving it on a plastic bag and cutting out pieces to place on my nails. There's no clean up!
And here's Ned! Don't let his dashing good looks fool you. He's a jerk.
You killed it with this one! Great job. You even make me believe I could do the water marble decals.

ReplyDeleteHi Ashley, those darn cats: so cute but yes, they can be real pains!! I don't know why they think they have a right to a personality, ha, ha. Your mani is very cute, too. =)
ReplyDeleteOh, he's terrible! I was trying to build a shelf last night and he decided it was a new toy for him.
