Happy Thursday, babes! Today, I have a new-to-me indie to share with you. The super sweet Laura of Ellagee recently contacted me to be one of the first to try out her latest creation. Golden Lotus is a gold leaf top coat that works over any base. I've shown it over two different ombre looks. Seeing it over different shades really shows you how versatile it is. Plus, I also have a review of Glass top coat!

| Golden Lotus comes with a cute lotus adjustable band ring. It can be kept on the bottle or removed and worn. Don't shake this polish! The golden flakes will break up. |

I only needed one coat for this look! I didn't have any trouble with application. It had a nice consistency and an average dry time. One coat of Glass topped it off perfectly.

Gold and purple is so regal together! I really love the huge pieces on the index nail, but my favorite nail is my ring.

I can't get over how easy this was to apply. I have the OPI Mariah silver top coat and it's a big pain to apply. This is a million times better. Here's to hoping Ellagee comes out with a silver/white gold version of this. *hint hint*

I've only used this for the top two manicures, but it won't be my last! I was impressed by the dry time and how shiny it made my nails. There's no funky smell. That's a big plus in my book. The brush is a bit fatter and wider than I'm used to; it actually made it easier to apply in nearly one stroke.

ReplyDeleteOh, most definitely! The dark purple gives you a bit of an idea of how it would look. It's the best gold leaf I've seen.
