Zoya - Magical Pixie Summer 2014

Press Sample

Are you a fan of textured polish? How about holographic glitters? If you answered yes to at least one of the questions, you need to check out the newest PixieDust polishes from Zoya! For summer, they've created three Magical PixieDusts with jam packed with glitter. They're a little on the chunkier side, but they're definitely winners.

For swatches, review, and even a some nail art, check out the details under the cut...

Bar

nude topaz jelly
chunky silver holographic glitters
textured matte finish

Bar

three coats

This polish applied nicely, but it takes a bit to dry. I used three thin coats. Because of the dense glitter, the visible nail line was pretty hidden.

one coat Gelous
one coat top coat

Top coat completely changes these polishes! It makes them twinkle and shine so much more. I love the look of the floating glitters.

Ginni

pink tourmaline jelly
chunky silver holographic glitters
textured matte finish

Ginni

three coats

The formula was the same as Bar. It applied well, but took a bit to dry. On shorter nails, two coats would be fine.

I'm telling you that top coat is performing miracles for these. I think they're great on their own. Then, BAM. Top coat makes me swoon even more.

Arlo

violet amethyst jelly
chunky silver holographic glitters
textured matte finish

Arlo

three coats

Arlo

I'm going to say the same thing as I did for the other two. Three easy coats that took a bit to dry. The juice is worth the squeeze, though.

Are you weeping yet? I can't handle how gorgeous this is! It's most definitely my favorite of the trio. I LOVE IT.

Magical Pixie Gradient

The first thing I thought of when I saw the trio was how great they would work together in a gradient. I was right!

Magical Pixie Gradient

I thought it would be a bit too chunky, but it worked out well. I started with a coat of Bar, added a bit more to the top third, and then used Ginni on the second third. I finished it off with a coat of Arlo on the tip.

Ugh! They blended together so beautifully. And just as the others, top coat completely changed it and made it even better.
