Jonesy Lou Lacquer - The Shaolin Collection

Press Sample

This post ain't nuthing ta f'wit. (Please don't throws things at me! I had to get that reference in.) Today, I have the newest Jonesy Lou Lacquer collection! The Shaolin Collection is inspired by Wu-Tang Clan. Pretty awesome, right?

The collection will be available on March 3, 2014 so get ready! For a full review and lots of pictures, check out all the details under the cut...

Liquid Swords

This one is a little tricky. I thought it was going to be a disaster, but it leveled out nicely. I used three coats. The first two were pretty streaky and on the sheer side. The third coat fixed any imperfections though! It had an average dry time. I suggest using a high shine topcoat like Glossy Glam to get the best look from this!

It's hard to see the twinkle in this. Trust me. It's there! The holo sparkles really kick this up a notch.

For a topper with large glitters, this was surprisingly easy to apply. I used one coat for this look. I think it's a great amount of glitter. The large rectangles actually lay flat! I didn't have any trouble with application and only needed one coat of topcoat to smooth it over.

How great is this gold over dark purple? Majestic! The holo in this is crazy good.

Tons of glitter in this baby! I used one coat for incredible glitter payoff. Typical glitter bomb dry time so I suggest a quick dry topcoat to finish it one. One coat of that was just enough for me.

Sometimes, I think cash really does rule everything around me. I'm a sucker for retail therapy. And for this polish! I love green. This one is especially perfect for the month of March. If you need a St. Patrick's glitter, this is the one for you!

Another great glitter topper with an awesome formula! I had no application issues and only needed one coat for a nice amount of glitter. Average dry time and topped with one coat of topcoat. No problems here!

Protect Ya Neck

Would anyone fault me for saying this is my favorite of the collection? Maybe it's because I'm a Pittsburgher. I've got to love it, right? It looks so cute over this pink base!
