A Rhyming Dictionary - Rinkitink

Press Sample

Lately, I've been trying to beat the winter blues with some bright polish. I recently received this gem from A Rhyming Dictionary and knew I was going to love it. I don't have anything in my collection that's quite like this.

Morgan, the creator, gave this little tidbit about the name: "King Rinkitink –The ruler of Gilgad, a jovial and pleasantly plump fellow on royal holiday who remains on the island as Kitticut's guest for several weeks."

I had to Google this because I wasn't familiar with the reference from The Land of Oz series. You can read more about it here

clear base
aqua and purple metallic shredded glitter

one coat over Illamasqua Jomina
one coat Rica Glossy Glam

This applied like a dream and only needed one coat for a nice amount of glitter. I didn't have any problems at all. Sometimes shredded glitter can be a pain to work with, but this wasn't at all. I only used one coat of Glossy Glam to smooth it over.

The light purple creme was the perfect base to show off the aqua and purple shreds in this. I love this combination so much and received lots of compliments about it when I was at work.

Rinkitink is currently available on Etsy.
Each polish is full size and cost $7.50 USD plus shipping.
