Urban Decay Anarchy Face Case - Review and FOTD

After receiving a Sephora gift card for Christmas, I immediately had to check out the clearance section. I was hoping to score some Illamasqua polishes, but I found something even better! I was able to snag this Urban Decay Anarchy Face Case for one hell of a deal. It was too good to pass up, and too good to keep to myself.

This is a huge post with over thirty pictures. I put a ton of time and effort into this post so I hope you all enjoy it! Let me know what you think. I'd love your feedback! Please keep in mind that I'm not a pro at makeup. I just do and use what I like. That's all that matters, right?

Check out a full review with over 30 pictures after the jump!

** All photos were taken in artificial lighting. **

Redemption

eyeshadow

dark gunmetal satin

Redemption

This is my favorite shadow in the case. It's a neutral smoky shade that's perfect for day to night looks. I like that it isn't frosty at all.

Fray

eyeshadow

very light brown toned warm mauve matte

Fray

I wasn't sure about this one. I typically don't use shadows like this. I'm glad I picked up this case because it led me to trying a few new shades. This works well as a base or allover color.

Vaporize

eyeshadow

deep taupe metallic with shimmer

Vaporize

Love this shadow! It's highly pigmented and blends really well. It's shimmery without being frosty.

Provocateur

eyeshadow

light mauve metallic with pink micro-glitter

Provocateur

This little number was surprising. I didn't realize there were tiny little pink glitters in it until I swatched it. It's a bit sheer at first, but builds up nicely. This one has crazy fallout.

Revolt

eyeshadow

silver metallic with silver micro-glitter

Revolt

Umm, this takes me back to middle school. I was all about the silver shadow in the turn of the millenium. I'm not really feeling this one. It's super pigmented, but has a lot of fallout with those micro-glitters.

Perversion

eyeliner pencil

blackest jet black matte

Perversion

WOW! I didn't think a black liner could be darker and deeper than Zero, my previous go to. I've never used such an amazing black eyeliner. This one kicks serious ass. A must have for everyone! It applies super smoothly and smudges beautifully.

Scandal

high gloss lip pencil

bright raspberry metallic shimmer

Scandal

Supersaturated and highly pigmented! This applied with ease and only took two swipes to get the look I like. It's buttery and not sticky. It doesn't have a weird smell or taste. I'm a fan!

Fetish

blush

pinky rose mauve with subtle gold shimmer

Fetish

I really like this blush. It gives a nice natural color with a slight shimmer without looking overdone. It's really versatile and great for everyday.

Quickie

blush

cool toned bright bubblegum pink matte

Quickie

This blush is awesome! Super bright and easy to apply. I didn't use this for today's look, but think it would be great to really play up your cheeks with a simple eye and nude lip.

Craze

highlighter

cool toned golden shimmer

Craze

I have to confess that I usually don't use a highlighter. Is that bad? Anyway, this one is nice. I wasn't sure about it until I tried it. I usually don't reach of gold tones.

Products Used

Lorac Primer
Urban Decay Brow Box
UD Shadows in
Redemption, Fray, Vaporize, Provocateur, and Virgin
L'Oreal Telescopic Liquid Liner
UD Perversion Linger
Smashbox Full Exposure Mascara

This look is pretty standard for me. I very, very rarely use shadows that aren't neutral. I started with a base of Fray, and then used Vaporize and Redemption to create a smoky eye. Provocateur was used as a bit of a highlight and Virgin went under the brow to add some lift. A smudge of Perversion along the bottom lash and a flick of my go to liquid to create a wing was all this needed before finishing it off with two coats of mascara.

Remember, babes. Eyebrows are sisters and not twins. Don't mind that mine need a trip to the salon. They're a little overgrown right now. I'm actually thinking about letting them grow out so I can try a new shape. Yay or nay?

Scandal

For this look, I lined my lips and then used two swipes to fill it in. Easy peasy!

For my cheeks, I used Fetish and applied a little of Quickie above it. It gave me a nice flushed look without feeling heavy. As you can see, I'm not as flawless as I like to think I am.

Oh, just serving up some serious bitch face. You know the drill. Are you tired of seeing my mug yet?

What do you think of this look? Are you going to need this face case? I think it'll be great to take me with when I'm on the go. It has nearly everything I need. Aside of from this, I'd only need a few other items in my makeup bag. I think it's a great little go to that would flatter any skin tone.

I picked up my Anarchy Face Case at Sephora. It's normally $44 USD, but I got it on clearance for $29 plus an extra 20% off! I love this one so much that I'll probably order the Shattered Face Case from the Urban Decay website while I still can. It's only $29, too!

If you liked this post, let me know! I'm always wary of posting non polish reviews. I put a lot of time and effort into this post. I hope you enjoyed it!

Try swiping a big fluffy brush full of a finishing powder under your eyes first, then you can just brush away the fallout after you apply! :* you look beautiful!
